Station… wait for it… ary

Ok I hope SOME of you got the How I Met Your Mother reference in the title. Love that show!

Moving on, I truly do believe that stationary can set the tone for your wedding and wedding-related events. Most people do not include a dress code on their invitations (unless black-tie). So, people will undoubtedly use your invitation as a guide to how formal your wedding will be.

Send them a postcard-style invitation? – casual affair. (still can be super cute!)

Send them a box filled with rose petals and letterpress typeset? – black tie for sure!

There are SO many options today for stationary that it can be overwhelming. Think about the tone you want to set for your wedding, and stick to simple, clean designs. There are a lot of DIY kits out there as well. Etsy is one of my favorite resources for stationary, there are hundreds of talents artists out there who can customize every last detail for you.

Here is some inspiration to get you going!
